Sandra raised a family while also working as store manager for several Richdale locations in the Northshore area. In 1980 she and her husband, Roland, opened “Jo-Jo’s” convenience store on Cabot St in Beverly, MA. Sandra retired as a customer service representative for L.L. Bean in 2003, when she and Roland moved to Concord, NH to be closer to family. Sandra enjoyed camping with her family, planting flowers, reading, visiting her life-long friends, Faye Somes and Patty Gentile, and spending time at her sister's camp on Worthly Pond in Maine, where they would often play cards into the night. Later in life, Sandra loved to do puzzles and play bingo at Merrimack County Nursing home, where she resided and received outstanding care. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband and life-long love of 59 years, Roland. Sandra is survived by daughter, Chloe Samuels and her husband Michael of Meriden, CT; son, Daniel D’Entremont of Gloucester, MA; daughter, Michelle Fishwick of Concord, NH; and daughter, Jeanette LaGrasse and her husband, Bryan, of Salem, NH. I have known Sandra and her siblings for many years .
In the 1980's Sandra's brother Brian use to bring fresh lobsters off the boat in Gloucester up to Sandra and Roland's convenience store, Jo Jo's.
Sandra and Roland would cook the lobsters take out the meat then make lobster salad sandwiches. These sandwiches were a popular item in their store.
I feel very blessed to have been able to spend time with the families of Sandra and Roland, Brian and Kathy Walker and Brenda Hallion.
My sincere condolences to all the family. Charlie
