Sharon E. Hammond

CONCORD – Sharon E. (Mills) Hammond, 70, died on Monday, April 13, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones.

Sharon was born on October 30, 1944, in Franklin, NH, the daughter of the late Ernest and Vera (Colcord) Mills. She was a lifelong resident of Concord and worked in the insurance industry during her years of employment.

Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother, and a generous friend. She enjoyed supporting her family’s creative endeavors, spending time with her great grandchildren, gardening, home decoration, and her beloved cats.

Members of her family include; her husband of 12 years, Kenneth Hammond, of Concord, NH; two daughters, Susan K. Colby, of Loudon, NH; Pattie A. Gaige, and her husband, Phillip H. of Bow, NH; one grandchild, Kristin K. Augros, and her husband, Paul, of Goffstown, NH; five great grandchildren, Raven, Arden, Elliot, Samuel and Archer.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. Interment will take place at a later date at Contoocook Village Cemetery, in Contoocook, NH.
