OBITUARY

Shirley Aladean Clancy

August 31, 1936 – July 9, 2025
Obituary of Shirley Aladean Clancy
IN THE CARE OF

Bennett Funeral Home

Shirley Aladean Clancy (Barto) (LaBonte), of Epsom, NH passed away on July 9, 2025. She was born on August 31st, 1936, in Seneca Falls, New York to Ellen (Stahlnecker) and Richard Barto.

Shirley was a light to those who knew and loved her. Whether she was dedicating her time to her family, auctioning off her famous cheesecakes in a charity bake sale, or simply sitting down and taking the time to listen to others, Shirley made a beautiful impact on her friends, family and community.

Her life was colorful; from posing on motorcycles, driving massive tractor trailer trucks, singing gospel music at church with her friends, or taking it easy by sitting down to watch Two and a Half Men with some homemade cookies. Shirley loved to cook, and with love and kindness, was always ready to feed anyone who came through her door. Trips to Hampton and Rye Beach made memories for her family and gave her a place of peace.

Shirley will be missed dearly by those she leaves behind:

Her children; Albina (Eva) and her husband Paul, Ellen, Lory, Gerard (Jr) and his wife Barbara, Michael (Mike) and his wife Deb, Richard and his wife Joanne; her brothers Raymond, Edward (Ed) and his wife Rose, Steve and his wife Karen; her sisters Maureen, Kathy, Beverly and Carol; 34 wonderful grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; her children Nancy, Kenneth (Kenny) and Duane; her sisters, Dorothy, Eleanor, Mary, Rose and Patricia, and her brothers, Richard (Dick), Danny, Duane, and William (Billy).
