Shirley May Nemiccolo

Shirley May (Headberg) Nemiccolo, (94) a long time resident of Bow, NH and more recently a resident at the Merrimack County Nursing Home, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Ebby) Nemiccolo.

Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Lenny Charron of Contoocook NH; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Dave Wheeler of Bow NH; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lynn Nemiccolo of Loudon NH; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Warren Simonds of Barre VT, and daughter Jodi and the late Jeff Cadorette of Penacook NH. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Shirley was born on September 15,1930 in Concord NH. She graduated from Concord High school in 1947. She married her one true love Ebby on July 28,1952. Shortly after that they started their family.

Shirley was a longtime employee of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NH, where she had many good friends. She loved to tell stories of her days working at Blue Cross. She was also a life long member of the Advent Christian Church in Concord, NH and the Family Bible Church of Loudon NH. Shirley loved singing from a young age and continued throughout her life, singing at weddings and church for many years. In high school, she was secretary of her class and was selected to attend all-state chorus several times.

Nothing gave Shirley more joy than her family. She loved being surrounded by her family and was often the center of attention. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.

Services will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. Concord, NH 03301 on Wednesday, July 2nd. Visiting hour at 1:00 PM with a funeral service at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will follow.
