OBITUARY

Susan Lamb Moore

October 31, 1932January 10, 2021

Susan Lamb Moore, 88 years old, of Hopkinton New Hampshire passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 surrounded by loving family. Susan was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania and was raised by her loving parents, Earl Washington Lamb and Faith Berray Lamb (Hine) in Scranton, PA. Susan often talked of her happy childhood, growing up in the congregation of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Scranton where her father was a deacon and her mother taught Sunday School.

Susan attended Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and went on to raise 2 children, son David Moore, and daughter Jennifer Moore Balkus. Susan was a 60-year resident of Acton, Massachusetts. She was a member of the Acton Women’s Club, built lifetime friendships, and was known to her friends and neighbors in Robbin’s Park as loyal, kind and an animal lover.

Susan also spent many years at her job as a temporary administrative assistant. She enjoyed her varied assignments to different offices in the Acton area, including the many Digital office locations. She loved meeting new people, and they loved how devoted she was to her job.

Susan is survived by her 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Susan showed her love and devotion through her many acts of thoughtfulness: knitting beautiful baby sweaters; scouting for little treasures to delight the children in her family; finding the perfect gift to bring joy to the recipient. Susan taught us all that faith, honesty, and integrity are the only things that matter in this life.

Services for Susan are delayed until all family members may travel and reunite safely.
