Ada Elizabeth Killian

In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband of fifteen years, Bill Killian; son Tony Killian; brothers John Ramsey, James Ramsey, Hillard Ramsey, Bruce Ramsey and Lester Ramsey; sisters Dolly Barger and Betty Houston.

Those left to cherish her memory is son Ronald Ramsey and wife Becky of Conover; Allen Eckard and wife Sharon of Conover; daughters Patsy Jane “PJ” Stephens and husband Skip of New Jersey, Billie Jean Joseph and husband Herb of Ohio, Mavis Lynn Hood of Valdese. Eleven grandchildren,

many great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.

Ada was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was retired from Shuford Mills as a spinner.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover with Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hickory.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. prior to the Service.
