In addition to Barbara’s parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Whitefield.
Those left to cherish Barbara’s memory are her husband of 47 years, Andy Gore; son, Jon Gore; brother, Rick Keller (Janet); Sister-in-law, Susan Hartness; grandchildren, Michael Barker, Jaylen Gore and Aliyah Gibbs.
Barbara was a loving wife and mother. She was a Paralegal for 47 years at Patrick, Harper, Dickson Law Firm. She loved her grandchildren, traveling and she was devoted to her cats. Barbara was an avid tennis player.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held at Drum Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00pm with Reverend Peggy Stout officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45pm at Drum Funeral Home, 509 1st Ave. S. Conover, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016.
