Praying for peace and comfort for Betty’s family. My mother lived with Betty at Abernathy. Betty was always so pleasant and always tried to be so helpful. Her smiling face will be missed.

While I’ve only known Betty since March of this year, I can say she truly was ALWAYS sweet every time I visited at Abernethy. She demonstrated care and concern for other residents at mealtime wanting to make sure everyone had food. My sister often commented, “Betty must’ve always been a caregiver” She loved seeing Bobbi and would wait for her daily visit. When Bobbi arrived her face would break out in the biggest smile. My dad loved seeing Ms Betty and referred to her as “Mama”. She will be missed. I cannot attend her funeral due to work obligations, but my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
