Betty Faye Hewitt Burch

Born June 18, 1934, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Loy Austin and Flossie Sanders Hewitt and widow of Paul Franklin Burch.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Franklin Neil Hewitt; brothers, Calvin Austin Hewitt and David Bandy Hewitt of Hickory; and brother in-law, Brice Eugene Pope of Claremont.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Keith Burch of Conover and Kevin Randall Burch and wife Terry of Conover; one sister, Norma Gay Hewitt Pope of Claremont, one sister-in-law Carolyn Key Hewitt of Hickory, one sister-in-law Betty Marlowe Hewitt and one ex-sister-in-law, Betty Pope Hewitt, both of Hickory; also five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four nieces and one nephew.

Betty was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Drum Funeral Home in Conover, with the Rev. Mike Daughtrey officiating.
