Jeanne and extended family,

I remember your dad fondly from the times we spent together living in the same Cary neighborhood - yes 40+ years ago but I always remember his smile.  He was a great encourager even back then. I couldn't believe this sad news.  What a wonderful man we have lost.  He was a special father figure, mentor, and friend.  What wonderful times we had working and playing together, laughing and crying at his retirement party with ALE, singing until I thought Tim and Catchie was going to throw us out of the house.  He was on every resume I submitted for a job.  I truly share your sorrow with his passing.  Knowing we will see him again makes it easier to bear.  I loved that man, as I love you all.

And now at his death of the flesh... those spiritual seeds will be fertilized and continue to grow.
