Bobbi Spencer Hamby

She was born June 22, 1971 in Catawba County to Alice Spencer and the late Robert Spencer. Bobbi’s spirit and all that made her so special to so many was sent to Paradise to join her beloved Daddy, Bob Spencer (Poppy), and her brother, Kevin.

She was a 1989 graduate of Newton-Conover High School and was an accomplished abstract artist with a gift for design. Bobbi’s passion in life was her family. Her energy, enthusiasm, and zest for life was what made her so special to us all! To know Bobbi was simply to love her.

Bobbi is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Rick Hamby of the home; her boys, Ethan, Preston, and Garrison; her mother, Alice Spencer; brother, Michael and wife, Anne, and their children, Lauren and Samantha; Lauren’s daughter, Roxy and Samantha’s son, Zander.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Conover with Rev. Dr. Gary Royal officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
