Charles Clifford Hollis

Charles was born May 23, 1938 in Floyd County, GA to the late Benjamin Fare Hollis and Effie Mae McCollum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gordon Barrett Hollis; brothers, Walter Hollis, Robert Hollis, George Hollis, and Arthur Hollis.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Charlene Hollis; sons, Charles Faron Hollis and wife, Donna of Lenoir, Clayton Boyd Hollis and wife, Zena of Hickory, Kenneth Logan Hollis and fiancée, Crystal Francis of Sawmills; daughter, Belinda Hollis Brown and husband, Joseph of Icard; brother, Steve Hollis; sister, Connie Deputy; grandchildren, Sarah Hollis, Dustin Hollis, Dillon Hollis, Heather Rogers, Chris Brown, Joe Brown, and Breanna L.; step-grandsons, Brian and Bryson; great-grandchildren, Joanne Yelton, Matthew Rogers; and Dear friend, Woodrow Hooks.

The family will receive friends at Drum Funeral Home in Conover on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
