My condolences to Pastor Knauff and family on the loss of Craig. I didn't know Craig but have admired his art. Pastor Knauff was my pastor and neighbor during my youth in Chatfield, Ohio. I remember fondly time spent with Karen, Mark and Philipp.

I first met Craig around 1998. A kind compassionate man full of conversation on any and all subjects. His art was amazing. My personal favorite was what I called " the angel". I have a small copy that I will cherish forever. My deepest sympathy to Rev. Knauff, family and friends. Rest in God's peace sweet friend.

To The Knauff Family and Friends of Craig,
I knew Craig well. Every time he visited, I made a video of Craig playing the piano. He would close his eyes and instantaneously come up with beautiful compositions. This was incredible. I have a number of his paintings and sketches. If one were to look at his Indians, done in crosshatch, you would agree with me that Craig was the Crosshatch King. Craig was ultra intelligent, and he made certain that he offered a prayer at every meal he ate. He was loved by me and my children. We will miss his very colorful personality. I thank God that I got to be a good friend of Craig Martin Knauff. See you in the future, Craig!

Rev. Knauff
I do not remember your son Craig, but my sympathy to you in the passing of your son. Perhaps you may remember me from going to Nazareth Lutheran when I was a young boy.
