Darla Marlene Coyle

Darla Marlene Rowan Coyle, age 87, of Newton, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Darla was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1936 in Cook County, Illinois to the late Roy Earl Rowan and Sarah Gladys Miller Rowan.

In addition to her parents, Darla was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Robert Charles Coyle.

Darla loved to travel and see the world. One of her fondest memories was sailing on the Baltic Sea. She was active as a volunteer in the Hickory Community Theater. Darla also enjoyed taking photos of the newborn babies at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Those left to cherish Darla’s memory are her son, Kent Beazley; daughters, Kerstin Maroney and Colleen Kalen; nephew, Scott Ross and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Brooke Maroney, Nicole Maroney, Christopher Beazley, Sarah DeWitt, and Rowan Dewitt.

An inurnment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
