

Earsley was born January 13, 1928 in Yadkin County in the township of Buck Shoal in Cycle, NC. She was the daughter of the late Burnet and Senia Swain Holleman. Earsley was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Newton, NC. Earsley was a woman full of life, love and laughter. She loved to bowl, travel, and sell anything to anyone. Her best accomplishment in life was her love for her family. She had a heart of gold and a twinkle in her eye for her children and grandchildren that she loved so dear. Earsley will be greatly missed by everyone she touched, and was a God-given blessing to have in our life. Her light will never go dim, but will shine on by those that loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Abertus Arndt.
Survivors include her four sons, Larry Ray Arndt of Claremont, Gary Wayne Arndt of Claremont, Ricky Lane Arndt of Claremont, and Jeffrey Allen Arndt of Claremont; four grandchildren, Eric Scott Arndt of Newton, Karen Arndt Key of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Megan Arndt of Granite Falls, and Mathew Arndt of Claremont; and one great-grandson, Corbett Nathaniel Key.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Dr. David Byers will officiate and burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Friday at Drum Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1560 Nathaniel St, Newton, NC 28658.
