When I first stated in RC and joined CVRC's Gary was a big help to this newcomer. Gary had a good mechanical understanding being an experienced auto mechanic and I was an engineer with GE so we could "talk" to each other. I always wanted to fly RC and Gary helped by explaining many things and showing me the ropes. I even got to visit his house once or twice and Gary gave me an old plane to learn with which he called "PUMPKIN" do to it's color. I had many good flights with that plane and worked with Gary on engine problems with the planes. I missed him when he stopped going to the field but I know he worked hard at his job and likely needed rest. I have not flown in a year or so but need to get out an old plane and go fly it and say " Gary, this is for you...thanks for everything."

I have many memories of Bud. We grew up on the same street. I remember the black Camaro he had. I think it was his first car. I haven't seen him in a long time. But I'll always remember growing up with him. And to his family you're in my prayers. GOD bless each and everyone of you. Sincerely Ravon
