

Geneva Estelle Scronce Fox, age 76, of Conover went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Monday, May 13, 2013 at her residence. Born December 10, 1936 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Hattie Helms Scronce.
She was a member of Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Vale and had worked 30 years at Southern Furniture. She loved reading her bible and singing hymns.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank Leroy Fox, a daughter, Janice Fox, a granddaughter, Lisa White and brothers, Robert, Jimmy, Charles and Donald Scronce.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Urcinola and husband, Ted of Newton, Sharon White and husband, Curtis of Newton, Debbie Caldwell and husband, Steve of Conover, Apollonia “Betty” Stackpoole and husband, Mark of Boynton Beach, FL; sisters, Ada Short of Catawba, Mary Kate Randall and husband, Bill of Catawba, Christine Self and husband, Harold of Vale, and Joann Auton and husband, Junior of Vale; brothers, Joe Scronce of Lincolnton, Daniel Scronce and wife, Judy of Lincolnton and Richard Scronce and wife, Linda of Vale; grandchildren, Amy James and husband, Sidney of Conover, Stephanie Caldwell and husband, Jason of Hickory, Scott White and Vincent Urcinola both of Newton, Adam Vivona , Allyn and Mark Stackpoole all of Florida; eight great grandchildren; a beloved sister-in-law, Katie Randall and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Vale. Rev. Tommy Scronce will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Drum Funeral Home in Conover on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
