Henry Lee Revels

Born November 28, 1930 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Marion Lee and Metta Sigmon Revels. Henry served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and had worked in the furniture industry and had retired from Southern Furniture. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Alyce Gray Revels; a nephew, Alan Wilkinson of Conover; and a niece, Jennifer Duncan and husband, Mark of Hickory; aunt, Miss Ruby Sigmon of Claremont; brother-in-law, Jesse Wilkinson of Conover; and sister-in-law, Louise Brannock of Hickory.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Woodlawn Baptist Church and Rev. Dr. Ed Yount will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Woodlawn.
