Herman was always a gentleman, and we enjoyed his sense of humor. He will certainly be missed.

Herman was such a wonderful man and a super friend.  When we moved to Greensboro, the Smiths took us under their wing.  They have been a part of our family and wonderful to our children.  We will miss him and talking to him every week.  Sue, May God hold you in the palm of his hand for this sad time.  We are there for you.
