

Jerry Joseph LaPage, Sr. (Joe), 68, of Conover, North Carolina, passed away after a gallant battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Joe believed family and faith were the most important things in life; being a member of Friendship Methodist Church.
Joe was born in Fulton, New York, to the late Perry M. and Pauline (Deon) LaPage. He is preceded by his son David Cook and siblings William LaPage, Perry LaPage, Larry LaPage, and Cathie Burch.
Joe retired as a truck driver, where he enjoyed traveling the United States with his wife. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending his days with his two dogs Lacy and Booboo. Joe was all about his family and worked tirelessly and unselfishly to provide for all and pass on as much knowledge as he could to help everyone.
Joe is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carlene Cook LaPage. He is also survived by brother George LaPage and sisters Phyliss Smith, Mary Keller, and Bonnie Duke. Joe is survived by his children: Robin Goode, Jerry and Jennifer LaPage, Jr., and Ron and Brenda Wilson. He is survived by his grandchildren: Timothy and Carolyn Throneburg, Randle and Kyra Brown, Steven Brown, Emilyann and Paul Marijan, Haylee and Morgan Frost, Nathaniel LaPage, Nathan LaPage, Curtis Wilson, Brandon LaPage, and David LaPage. Joe is also survived by six (6) great-grandchildren: Kaylynn, Kylee, Madi, Arya, Elladee, Emberlee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
