Joan Elizabeth Rowe

She was born November 09, 1929, in Catawba County to the late Jesse J. Brown and Judy W. Brown.

Joan was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Neil Rowe, sons David and Joseph "Joe" Rowe; brothers Horace and Archie Brown; sisters Emma Roberts, Mary Monroe, Verlie Duncan, and Nadine Barnett; niece Susan Drum. Those left to cherish her memory are nephews Paul Duncan, Timothy Duncan and Keith Monroe; nieces Patricia Clontz, Wanda Keller, Beverly Penland, Melanie Meadows and Janet Aultman; adoptive daughter Nicole T. Boehm and sons Zachary and Jordan of Newton.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 2:00pm at Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover. The Rev. Michael Geml and Paul Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow at the Conover Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover.
