John Joseph Reynolds

John Joseph Reynolds, age 87, from Glen Cove, NY, passed away on October 5, 2021 at his residence in Conover, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Simon Reynolds and Emily Amelia Luczak, also his wives; Geraldine and Mary Lou Reynolds.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Richard and Margaret Reynolds, along with his children and their families; Laura and Denny Lovern, Katherine Reynolds, Gregory and Denise Reynolds, Micheal "Spike" Kempf, Carol and Ronald LaRuffa, Patricia and Larry Cole, Heidi Kempf. His grandchildren; Alexandra Reynolds, Amanda Reynolds, Destiny Jackson, Zoe Lamb, Marissa Kempf, Jessica Reynolds, Daniel Cole, Jacob Gonsalves, and Micheal Kempf. His great grandchildren; Madison, Sophie and Lacey.

He was a Veteran Service Member who honorably served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy. Military Honors will be performed by the United States Navy and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.

Any charitable donations may be made to Veterans Affairs at the Charles George VA Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Rd., Asheville, NC 28805 in his honor.

A funeral service will on held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home, Conover. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service.
