Karen Noreen Armstrong, age 79, of Conover, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Atrium Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. Karen was born on October 25, 1942, and she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn Crossley. Karen is also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Karen was an avid bingo player and could also been found at the casinos with friends.
Karen is survived by two sons, Kenneth L. Armstrong and wife Mary Jo, and Kirk Edwin Armstrong; two daughters, Laurie Work and husband Terry, and Tonya Gertsch and husband David.
Karen is also survived by seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and a special friend Bill Wilkins.
Services will be held at a later date.
The Armstrong family is under the care of Drum’s Funeral Home in Conover.
