

Larry Woodrow Isenhour, 71, of Claremont, NC went home to be with his Lord and Savior and beloved daughter Lisa, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born December 6, 1941 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Dorothy Payne Isenhour.
Larry retired from the Post Office as a rural mail carrier after many years of service. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Larry loved his Lord, and his church, and cherished his family. The apple of his eye was his grandson, Zane and granddaughter, Abby. He was lovingly referred to as PawPaw.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Dawn Isenhour.
Left to cherish his memories include, his wife of 45 years, Faye Isenhour of the home; son, Randy Isenhour and wife, Angela of Bethlehem; and grandchildren, Zane Thomas Isenhour and Abby Analise Isenhour.
A Celebration of Life and Home going will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont. Revs. Eric Hollar and Edward Meyer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, prior to the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:45 pm at Bethel Lutheran Church.
