Linda Louise Marshall Collins

Linda Louise Marshall Collins, age 76, of Hickory, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Linda was born in Zanesville, Ohio on Wednesday, August 20, 1947 to the late Richard Marshall and Beatrice Robinson Marshall.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Gerald Homer Collins, Sr.; brothers, Jim Fouty and Bobby Fouty.

Linda was a cherished member of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda loved to crochet, cook, and bake. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her sons, Gerald Collins, Jr., Rick Archer; daughter, Shandra Smith; brothers, Dick Marshall, Jake Marshall, Casey Marshall; sisters, Jane Hastings, Judy Roberts, Lucy Marshall, Melody Johnson, Lori Marshall; grandchildren, Carl Collins, John Collins, Johnathon Smith, Josh Smith, Davey Smith; and four great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service for Linda will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Eastview Cemetery, 23 S Brady Ave, Newton, NC 28658.
