In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred M. Huffman; brothers, Floyd Sigmon, John Sigmon, James Sigmon, Tommy Sigmon; sisters, Pauline Bowman, Alma Reames, Thelma Sigmon, Charlotte Johnson.
Lorene loved working in her flowers. She enjoyed admiring her beautiful animal figurines placed in her yard. Lorene worked in the hosiery industry and retired from Elliot Hosiery in Hickory where she worked as a supervisor. Lorene was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Conover.
Those left to cherish Lorene’s memory are brothers, Glenn Sigmon and wife, Rhonda, Perry Sigmon and wife, Dorothy, Richard Sigmon and wife, Jane, Danny Sigmon and wife, Debbie; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 2pm to 2:45pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 6175 St. Peter's Church Rd, Conover, NC 28613.
A Funeral Service for Lorene will be held at 3pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Peter Frank and Reverend Eric Hauss officiating. Committal will follow the service. There will be a private burial.
