Lynn Allen Shrewsberry

Lynn Allen Shrewsberry, of Conover, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026 at the age of 69. He was born in Hannibal, Missouri on Sunday, October 13, 1957 to the late Darrell W. Shrewsberry and Viola Mae Wasson.

In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by brothers, Danny and Mark Shrewsberry; and nephew, Brian Lee Holden.

Lynn was a longtime resident of Amelia Island, Florida where he became an integral part of the community and retired from the Ritz-Carlton. He loved to tell vivid stories and made friends wherever he went, many from around the world. He was an important and vital part of the upbringing of his siblings. Lynn will be treasured and missed deeply.

Those left to cherish Lynn’s memory are his sisters, Michelle Goodrich (William), Leasa Dollar (John), Dava Shrewsberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Lynn will be held at 10am on November 10, 2026 at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, Missouri.

The Shrewsberry family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Conover, NC and Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal , MO.
