I was so sad to hear about Maryann. She has always been special to me. I love that you selected a picture of her standing in Conover Drug. That is where I had the pleasure of meeting Maryann and Rudy back in 1990. Rudy would come in every afternoon and have coffee with the crew, and Maryann would join later and order a Diet Coke. They were my favorite customers....Rudy with his shy sweetness, and Maryann’s sarcastic humor. As mentioned in the obituary, she was the first to remember a birthday or other special date. When I left for college, she and Rudy would write me every week.....at least once but sometimes twice! These past few years, she would always email me on my birthday, and also on my both of my daughters’ birthdays. She was so thoughtful. I’m so thankful that we were able to catch up with her last Christmas, so that I could introduce my girls to someone so special to me. Unfortunately, I am not able to attend the service on Saturday, but please know that my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you all. She will be deeply missed.

Auntie Ann......I'm grateful to have spent Christmas with you and our family. We will miss your sarcastic humor!! Not to mention all the decorating!!
Rest in peace with Rudy now and no more suffering except for those you leave behind. Enjoy those streets of gold. ❤
