In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Moser.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cordie Wilkinson Gryder; son, Austin Gryder and Gary Gryder; daughter, Lisa Gryder; and seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; sisters, Rachel Ervin, Faye English and Margaret Griffith.
A celebration of life service will be held at Welcome Baptist Church in Catawba, NC 2pm, Sunday, September 5, 2021 with pastor Jeremiah Parker officiating. Any flowers deliver to the church.
