Nora McCloud Bolick

Nora was born February 21, 1916, in Burke County to the late John McCloud and Eliza Elizabeth Woodie McCloud. She was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover where she was very active when able. She worked for Warlong Glove Company where she later retired. Nora loved to sew and was a wonderful cook.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bolick; sister, Mary Louise Pennell; and cousin, Nora Faye Duncan, who was her namesake.

Nora is survived by her cousin, Rita Brittain of Claremont, two nieces and numerous other cousins.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Chapel at Concordia Lutheran Church, Conover with Rev. Brian Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Conover City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
