Pamela Gail Hinson

In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Howard Dale Hinson and brother, James Ray Matheson, Jr.

Pamela was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She was a caring and devoted mother to her children as well as many other children in her life. Pamela enjoyed playing bingo and she loved to dance. She will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish Pamela’s memory are sons, Christopher Hinson (Rhonda), Bobby Joe Hinson, Timothy Hinson (Rebecca), Michael Hinson (Maria); daughter, Jessica Hinson (Junior); brother, John Matheson; sister, Kathy West; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1pm -1:45 on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Drum Funeral Home, 509 1st Ave South, Conover, NC 28613.

A funeral service for Pamela will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Drum Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Whisnant officiating.

Burial will follow at Conover City Cemetery, 702 3rd St SE, Conover, NC 28613.
