Peggy Sue Garris Campbell

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ted W Overcash Sr.; 2nd Husband, Lloyd Blain Campbell; and several siblings. Peggy worked as a private duty CNA-2. She grew up in Diamond Hill Baptist Church in Statesville, NC. She later joined her husbands church, St Marks Lutheran Church in Claremont, NC.

She is survived by her sons, Ted W Overcash Jr. and wife Amy of Hickory, Donald R Overcash and wife Kathy of Conover, David W Overcash and wife Amy of Vale; brother, James Clark of Oklahoma; Louise Millsaps of Lincolnton; a very special grandson that she had the loving privilege to help raise, Trey Overcash and partner Amanda Odom; Joshua R Overcash and wife Amanda, special granddaughters, Devin Robinson and husband Richard, Alexandra Beverland and husband Jeri, Hannah Overcash and fiancé Mark Hefner; great grandchildren, Maddox, Trent and Blake Overcash, Richard Robinson IV, Cannan and Ian Martin. She spent many happy days and had good times with them and her grandchildren and family.

Gathering of friends will be held at 1pm prior to the service.

Celebration of life service will be held at Drum Funeral Home Conover at 2pm Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
