Sebastian Remicci

He was born January 29, 1932, to the late Joseph Remicci and Isadora Candoneri of New York City. He served in the US Navy as a Naval Engineer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Janet Hefner Remicci; brother, Geno Remicci; sister, Angie Remicci.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Remicci of Yorktown, Virginia; daughters, Lisa Thomas of Tennessee, Laura Carraway and husband, Tim, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Tina Hampton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Theresa Nero; grandchildren, Keith Mauger, Samantha Thomas, and Kaitlyn Thomas; and sisters, Virginia Meyer and Mary Moran.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover, NC. Pastor Byron Repass will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
