Born March 17, 1948 in Blair County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Joann Bowser Tilson. She was previously employed by Newton Vision.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, John Johnston of the home; two sons, William Clark of Cornelius, NC, Doug Clark of Johnstown, PA; a brother, Charles Tilson of Johnstown, PA; a sister, Sue Tarbey and husband, David of Johnstown, PA; and three grandchildren, Caroline Clark, Ashley Clark, and Avery Clark, all of Cornelius, NC.
A service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Rev. Larry Cooley will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.
A second service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 21, 2014 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Pastor Wendy Henderson will officiate.
