Shirley Jean Reinhardt Cranford went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was 89 years old. She was born in Catawba County and lived her entire life here with Christ-like kindness and humility.
She is survived by her three children, Debra Cranford Lee (Jeff), Kevin Cranford, and Amy Cranford Burleson (Jeff); grandchildren Laura Lee Waters (Billy), Scott Lee and Eric Burleson and great-grandchildren, Kennedy Waters and Madison Waters. Shirley is also survived by her sister, Martha Reinhardt Cranford and brothers, Wayne Reinhardt and Raymond Reinhardt as well as her sister-in-law Beverly Cranford Roberts (Don) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Bethany United Church of Christ, 2952 Bethany Church Road, Claremont, NC 28610 on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11am. Rev. Tom Deane will officiate.
The family will receive after the graveside service at the gravesite.
