Stephen Nelson Coulter

Stephen Nelson Coulter, 54, of Lincolnton passed away on Tuesday, August 06, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born July 31, 1959, he was the son of the late Charles Craig Coulter and Edith Blackburn Coulter.

Steve, a loving husband and father, had a real zest for life. He enjoyed the outdoors, horses, and trail riding with family and friends. He had a gift for working with his hands and was a jack of all trades. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Freddie Coulter, Tony Dobish, Frank Blackburn; sister, Marie Boyce.

Survivors include his spouse of eight years, Angela Horne Coulter of the home; sons, Nathan Coulter of Hickory, Kent Coulter of Maiden; step-sons, Dylan Lineberger, of Charlotte, and Garrett Lineberger, of Lincolnton; step-daughters, Sydney Lineberger and Sierra Lineberger, both of Lincolnton; sisters, Mary Bolick of Maiden, Judy Stewart and husband, James, of Catawba.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover with Rev. Michael Horne officiating.
