Thelma Janette Connor Hester

Born March 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert Fulton Connor and Katie Leola Deal Connor.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Kenneth Hester, three brothers and five sisters,

and a grandchild, Laurin Helm Hughey.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Julia Hester Helm and husband James of Little River, SC; and grandchild, James Robert Helm of SC, great-grandchildren, Abby Helm, Will, Emma, and Jackson Hughey.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover with Rev. Peggy Stout officiating with burial following at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. prior to the Service.
