Violet Lucille (Clark) Church

Violet Clark Church, 92, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Catawba County on Wednesday, April 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Aldon Richard and Julie Jane Clark.

Violet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Calvary Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Catawba.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Edward, Ted, and Daniel; sisters, Edith Yount and Margaret Cruse; grandson, Mikey Church.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Eugene Church; sons, Micheal Richard (Lisa), Donald Wayne (Leslie); daughters, Brenda Reinhardt, Tammy Teague (Eddie), Roxanne Lynn Danner (Jackie); brother James, sisters Marcie Clark, Pam Veridette, Patricia Phillips and Connie Clark. Grandchildren Kenny, Samantha, Scott, Jeremy, Bryant, April, Carla, Amanda, Edie, Carmen, Brandy, Savannah, Nathan, Angie, Kristy, Bubba, Hannah, Stacy, Jamie; 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Violet will have a graveside service at Calvary Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Catawba on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 3:00pm. Pastor Larry Cooley will officiate.
