Sending love to my North Carolina family, from your Alaskan cousin and Lottie’s daughter. I have such good memories of visiting all of you, collecting fireflies, picking tomatoes, afternoon thunder storms, croquet on the lawn, Grandma Grace’s pot pie. Although it’s been such a long time, please know that my mom and I have you in our hearts during this time of loss.

Hello, I am the second son of Wayne C. Bolton, My name is Dale Bolton. First I would like to thank my father for his military service to his country, which was a great honor for him following in his father's footsteps. my dad loved to travel and as a family we traveled all over the world, until finally settling down in Conover, N.C. Dad loved the outdoors and riding on his BMW motorcycles, listening to country music and enjoying a good drink.... Dad we had a lot of good times together and I am proud to be your son. Love You

As I am the oldest son of Wayne, David Duane Bolton and also the son of Joan Margaret Valerie Collard Bolton. I grew up with the privilege of being born into a half American and half British family. My father was born in Catawba County, N.C. and my mother born in the County of Kent in Great Britain south east of London. I myself was born in Landstuhl, Germany and to my surprise have three birth certificates. The German economy birth certificate, the U.S. Army Hospital birth certificate and the U.S. Consulate birth certificate. Where else in the world can you get that many birth certificates unless your from a military family! You have to live the life of a military family to know the life of a military family. I am very proud to have traveled the world with my parents until my father retired from the Air Force in 1972 and we settled in Conover, N.C. My parents collected antiques from all over the world to furnish our home, most being from the continent of Europe and Great Britain. One of the most remembered quotes from the years father was in the Air Force came from my Beloved Mother “ There is no Greater Honor than the Honor you Live with “. Always a loving son to my father and mother.
