William Henry Bristow, Sr. passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026 at the age of 73. He was born in Catawba County on Wednesday, June 10, 1953 to the late Robert Bruce Bristow, Sr. and Lilly Thompson Bristow.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Bruce Bristow, Jr., Allen Lee Bristow, Kenny Bristow; sisters, Fannie B. Aikens, Barbara B. Jackson, Alice F. Bristow, Connie M. Bristow,
William was a loving husband and father, and friend. He was a member of Fairgrove Baptist Church in Hickory.
Those left to cherish William’s memory are his wife Diane K. Bristow; daughter, Rebecca VanDyke; son, William Bristow, Jr.; brother, Mack Arthur Bristow; and sister, Margaret Bristow.
A service for William will be held at a later date.
