Born November 11, 1987, he was the son of Barbara Shook and the late William “Billy” Brown.
In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Betty Shook and his paternal grandmother, Gladys Wagoner.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Rusty Hefner of the home; sisters, Lara Anne Shook of Bluefield, WV, Renee Church and her husband, Jeremy, of Bethlehem, NC;
nieces and nephews, Kevin Shook of the home, James, MaKayla, and Ian Anderson, Shyanne and Jonathan Church; aunt and uncle, Mary and Bill Hefner; and several more aunts and uncles.
A memorial service honoring William’s life will be held in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church Ministry for the Blind, 2126 St. John’s Church Road, Conover, NC 28613.
