Alice Lucille Davis, 93 of Conroe passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was born to Claude and Mary Redding on November 15, 1931. She was the first baby born in the Alice Regional Hospital in Alice, Texas, hence her first name.
After the passing of her husband Wayne, she served as the Postmaster for the post office in Driscoll, Texas. She loved gardening her vegetables and herbs and kept an immaculate lawn.
She was preceded in death by her husband’s Wayne Evans and C.D. Davis, children Cathy Sampson, Noble Wayne Evans and Brenda Gorbet and her sister. She is survived by her grandchildren T.J. Sampson, Julie Benson, Misty Sampson, Clifton Evans, Annie Gorbet and Kevin Holleman, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, half-brothers, Clayton and Jimmy Redding and niece Claudia Lamb.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Conroe Church of Christ located at 1860 Longmire Rd, Conroe, TX 77304.
