Amelia Marie (Donati) Domangue, born on May 26, 1935, passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Louis J Donati and his wife Maymie (Cappadona). She attended St. Agnes School for Girls from elementary through high school. After graduation from St. Agnes, she attended Siena College in Memphis.
On June 4, 1955, she married Donald Domangue who would be her husband for sixty-six years until his passing in May 2021. They had three sons, Donald Jr, Scott, and Chris. Over the next thirty-five years, between Donald’s two years in the Air Force and his career with Union Carbide they lived in San Antonio, Philadelphia, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Somerville (NJ), and New Orleans. After retirement, they moved to Tequesta, Florida, before finally settling in the Woodlands, Texas. Amelia was an avid bridge player and played tennis well into her seventies. Amelia and Don attended Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on a regular basis until their later years.
Preceded in death by her father Louis Donati and her mother Maymie Donati, Amelia is survived by her three children Donald Jr (Lee Anne), Scott (Lanna), Chris (Christine), her six grandchildren Lindsay (Brent) Mobley, Eric (Shannon) Domangue, Taylor Domangue, Nicole (Mayson) Meier , Anthony (Kaitlin)Domangue, Jagger (Sara) Domangue, and seven great grandchildren Landry and Blakely Mobley, Ethan and Pierce Domangue, Leighton, Shiloh and Amelia Domangue.
