Ann Viloa Wilson, age 88 of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in Spring, Texas. She was born on January 30, 1937, in Jasper, Texas to Harvey and Hazel Cain. After her husband went to be with the Lord in 2006 Ann became a volunteer at Conroe Regional Hospital. She was an outgoing friendly person who always had a smile and enjoyed helping other people. Ann loved fishing and camping at Toledo Bend Reservoir with her family and friends. She loved her pet dogs, gardening, reading, traveling, volunteering and cooking huge Sunday lunches for everyone in the family.
Ann was a Christian. She was baptized in the Methodist church in Magnolia Springs, TX while growing up. After marriage and dad’s military service, the family moved to Vidor, TX where the family attended Pine Forest Baptist Church. When mom and dad retired, they moved to Conroe, TX and attended First Methodist Conroe Church. Ann was a cherished and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Hazel Cain of Magnolia Springs, Tx; her husband of 52 years Charles Wilson Jr of Conroe Tx; her son Charles Kenneth Wilson of El Paso; brothers Robert Cain of Lynwood, WA; Van Cain of Conroe, TX; sister Mildred Morgan of Magnolia Springs, TX and great grandson Avery Wilson of Hannibal MO.
Ann is survived by her two sons Steven Wilson and wife Lajoana of Spring, TX and Craig Wilson and wife Diana of Lumberton, TX; grandchildren Rebeca Picotte and husband Michael of Kingwood TX; Steven Clay Wilson Jr of Spring, TX; Jennifer Williams and husband Coby of Kingwood, TX; Charles Wilson of Las Vegas; Kaitlyn Sinclair and husband Christian of Spring, TX; Amanda Leatherman of Melissa, TX; Dawn Dickerson and husband Wesley of Lumberton, and TX 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10:00 am at Cashner Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
