Austin Taylor Matthews

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Austin Taylor Matthews will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Donnie Phillips officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on October 3, 2013, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Austin was born April 2, 1992 in Spring, Texas to Mark and Diana Matthews and entered the Gates of Heaven on September 30, 2013 at the age of 21. Austin, known by his friends as “Tweeter” and “Bull” loved baseball, playing x-box with his friends and spending time with his nephews. He truly loved his family and his friends, but most of all his Lord and Savior. Austin had a very large heart and cared about everyone he knew. He was a very loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, friend and servant of the Lord. Austin attended Lone Star Community College and was employed by Lifeline Aquatics. Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Mark and Diana Matthews; grandmother, Ann Pace; brothers, Jason and his wife Kristie, Kevin, David and his wife Michelle; sisters, Kristy and her husband Todd and Tiffany and her husband Frank; nieces, Taylor, Payton, Lexi and Gracie; nephews, Kyle, Nicholas, Kade, Gabe, Weston, Jackson and Seth. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Cameron Prather, Corey Callihan, Jonathan Mitchell, Trey Lewis, Jarrod Remington, Cole Johnson, Nathan Wells and Sam Nance.
