Barbara Ellyn Ayres, born on August 5, 1924, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on November 21, 2015 at the age of 91. Barbara served as Manager in the Road Department of the Harris County Flood Control District for numerous years prior to her retirement in 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Jessie Bohannon. Barbara is survived by her daughter; Cynthia Denny and husband Scott, sons; Tim Ayres and wife Sharon, David Ayres and wife Sharon, grandchildren; Natasha, Tiffany, Sherayne, Amber, Derek, and Clint, great-grandchildren, Nathan, Alex, Ashleigh, Kane, Devin, Kaylee, Brendan, Jaden, and Barrett. Barbara is also survived by one great great- grandchild, Bryson and numerous friends. Funeral Service for Barbara Ellyn Ayres will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 3:00pm with a catered reception following. There will be a private family interment.
