In Loving Memory of our beloved mama, granny, sister, aunt, niece, and loyal friend, Barbara Ann Baker. Her life was defined by love, kindness, loyalty, and the deep connections she shared with her family and friends. Barbara was born on July 1, 1962 in Mankato, Minnesota and passed away October 12, 2026 in Conroe, Texas.
Above all else, she was a devoted mother to her three children and a doting grandmother to her six grandchildren. She was known to say that she spent her whole life training to be the best Granny and she certainly accomplished that. Her family was her greatest joy, proudest accomplishment, and the place where her heart felt most at home. She cherished the moments spent together, finding happiness not in grand gestures but in the simple meaningful moments that made a house a home and family a lifelong bond.
Barbara was also the very best dog mom, with a special place in her heart for her big dogs, whom she cherished dearly. We know that they were all waiting for her in heaven
for another piece of cheese and a kiss on the nose. The love and care she gave them were just another reflection of her nurturing heart and the deep affection she had for those lucky enough to be part of her life.
Barbara had a special appreciation for life’s quiet pleasures, like tending to her plants and flowers, listening to her books and collecting treasures of colored glass and unique antiques.
Barbara is preceded in death by the love of her life, Pat Baker, her parents, Jim & Mary Osborn, her brother Richard Osborn, and her in-laws, Bill & Audrey Baker. Leaving behind to treasure her memory are her children, Ryan & Mariah Baker, Shane & Olivia Baker and Elizabeth & Daniel Jircik, her beloved grandchildren, Charlie, Noah, Zelie, and Joseph Baker, Bash Baker and Margot Jircik. She is also survived by her siblings, Patrick & Jehn Osborn of Fairplay, CO, Kelly & Jim Clark of Conroe, TX, her siblings in law Vickie & Frank Messer and Ronnie & Beth Baker and her treasured Aunt, Suzanne Pechacek of Minneapolis, MN along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be forever loved, endlessly missed and always remembered. Her greatest gift
was the love she shared and that love will remain a part of her family and friends for generations to come.
