Barbara Faynell Baylor

Barbara Faynell Baylor went home to her heavenly Father, surrounded by her loving Family on July 14, 2026 at the age of 84. She was born July 10, 1942 in Houston, TX to Charlie Walter and Loneita (Hutsen) Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Merkel Johnson, brother, Frankie Johnson, son, Robert Baylor, Jr., grandson, Kevin Elliott and nephew, Aulton Richardson, Jr.

Barbara is survived by Robert Baylor, Sr., the love of her life; siblings, Billy Ray Johnson, Donald Joe Johnson and Dolores Williams; daughter, Debbie Griffith (Gary), daughter Cheryl Williams, daughter, Tina Williams; grandchildren, Eric Griffith, Justin Williams (Amanda), Sarah Griffith (Jason), Ashley Wright (Randy), Megan Williams-Bowling (Caleb), Amanda Blanton, Courtney Williams, Chelsey Williams (Zack) and Clay Baylor along with seventeen great grandchildren.

Barbara attended Conroe Beauty College, received her beautician license and opened “Cut & Curl Beauty Salon” at the age of 42. She had many clients over the years and holds each one dear to her heart. Her relationship with God was the foundation of her life. Every night she faithfully prayed for each member of our family by name. Beyond her successful career, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her best friend, Sandy Harmon.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303, on July 25, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
