Meme was always wanting to have a good time. She was so funny and sweet and she loved us all very much.
I remember 2-3 years ago when we were all spending the night at Meme’s House me and Katie decided to play a trick on Meme. We went to Nana’s house and dressed up in wigs and clothes and put on makeup. We pretended like we were Nana’s friends and went to visit Meme. Meme just loved getting to know “Nana’s friends” and had no idea that they were us. When we started to leave she told us to come back and visit sometime.
I have so many wonderful memories with Meme and I will always cherish them. One day when I’m in Heaven and see Meme again we can laugh about all the good times we had together.
I love you Meme. I can’t wait to see you again in Heaven.

You were one of the most precious ladies I have ever known; you were so good and kind to everyone, including me!!
You always made me laugh, and I loved being around you. I am truly blessed to have known you!!!

See you in Heaven one of these days; I know the angels began dancing all around you , acting silly and laughing
when you arrived at your final home. Praise the Lord!!

I truly loved you and will miss you, Robbie Overstreet ("Mom O" Overstreet) 1-14-2019

I remember at Thanksgiving I had some hash brown potatoes. I didn't know who cooked it till after I ate it. I asked who cooked it and meme said, "Well sweet heart I did". I have never had potatoes like that ever and that was the best I have ever had. No one can cook those like you can Meme. Then this other memory I have is when I was out in the pasture mowing and you walked all the way to me with a little tiny coke and said, "Sweet heart, you need to stay hydrated. You look like Paw out there on that tractor." I'm out there in the heat and see this little tiny lady coming to me. All I could think was Meme it's super hot but I was not gonna pass up your coke you gave me. Every time I see a tiny coke I will think of you. I love you Meme and miss you. We will meet again one day in Heaven. I love you.

I remember coming home from school and you always being right there when I came home. You would ask how school was and you would love to hear about my dancing. Then we would go through your recipes and I would go home and cook them. Thank you meme for those special memories I have with you. It's because of you who gave me the hunger for baking and cooking. I do it all the time and when I do I will remember you! I love you Meme and I will miss you. I will see you again one day in Heaven and we can cook together!

I didn’t have a lot of time with MeMe but the few times that we did share together were so very pleasant.
One visit stands out when I think of MeMe- I brought my baby boy over to help Care for her one trip to my Mom and Dads house. MeMe loved that I brought him- she was so sweet with him and would “give him rides” on her walker. She would tell him that it was like a carnival ride and that he needed to stay seated and all hands inside the ride! Soooo SWEET!
I remember laughing so hard and he just loved it!
I’m pretty sure MeMe slept really good that night.
God Bless you, MeMe. Save us a good seat and may you rest Easy with our Gracious Heavenly Father.

When Meme would come to the Star 5 Ranch she would sit for hours looking out the window with binoculars to see the cows, horses and our little donkey Hanna and get so tickled when the baby calves would start playing! But her greatest joy was when the chickens or Dominikers as she would call them come up on the porch and she would get to rock them in the rocking chair! She truly loved her visits but was always ready to get back home to Grangerland
Rest In Peace Meme and we will see you again ❤️

Meme, it's sad to see you go but glad that you are in heaven so we can meet again. I remember every time I would come over, you always smiled at me and said, "hello my sweetheart." and would give me big hugs and kisses. You always had candy (M&M's and hard chocolate candy and peeps). You always gave me a big red or a doctor pepper to drink. I'll miss you meme. I love you.

My Meme means the world to me. When it's quiet I hear meme say, "Looky what the baby can do", "Dinnie", "Baby Dinnie", "Buttercup", "Sweetpea", "Sweetheart", I can still hear her say these things to me. She always made me smile. If I was feeling down she would say a funny saying or just get up and dance and makeup a song. She taught me so many things that I find myself using in my day to day life. She taught me to live one day at a time, to not to cry over spilled milk (just mop it up). She taught me to be myself and most of all, love our Lord and Savior. I loved her smile that she would give in the mornings as we sit and have toast and coffee looking out the window watching the birds do their morning dance and sing their morning songs to us. Meme taught me never to give up, and don't worry what other people think. Just wake up with your chin high and take it one day at a time. In the summer time when I was little my most memories are with Meme and Paw. Going to Meme's house that was the "IN THING" to do. I never ever wanted to leave Meme's house. I remember crying so many times cause mama and daddy had to pick me up and take me home. I always had the best time with Meme. When Meme would cook she would say, "Sweetheart, what you do when you get done cooking is that, you make your food pretty." She always told me that if my food was pretty it makes everyone more hungry and you won't have any left overs. Every time when I would see Meme or talk to her on the phone, her first words would be "Merry Christmas". I would always reply with "Happy New Year". We would say this to each other all through the year. Meme is so special to me. I know she is with the Lord and holding Paw's hand. I will see you again some day Meme. Now it's my turn to say "Merry Christmas" first. I love you to the MOON AND BACK!
Merry Christmas!

God truly blessed me with a wonderful mother. She made my whole life fun and taught me to never give up. She taught me to have high morals and to be a great Christian. My mom was one of a kind. As a small child I remember she would take my brother and I on a picnic at the firetower that used to be on firetower road. We would eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips and cookies and we thought that was the best picnic ever. There are so many wonderful stories I could tell about my mom.
Mama I will miss you so much! You were my buddy and my friend. I know you are in the presence of our Lord and with all your family who were waiting for you. I love you dearly and will see you again.

Betty (Sis) Crawford is my Meme. She was a fun loving person to all who knew her. She had a bubbly personality and always had a positive outlook on life. She found joy in the simple things. Anytime my mother would tell me “We’re going to Meme’s house “ I would be filled with excitement because she was always ready with a hug and huge smile on her face. There would always be plenty of baked goods available as well! If you were ever feeling down, all you had to do was hang around Meme and she would lift you up with her loving encouragement and proclamation of “you’ll make it!” She was always cuttin up and acting silly, and if anyone ever thought she was crazy she certainly didn’t care! I love you dearly Meme! See you later alligator!
