Betty Freeman, 77, of Conroe passed away on March 11, 2013. Betty was born on October 29, 1935 in Huntsville, Texas to Kenneth and Emma Jones Sylvester. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and was famous for her “Nanny Burgers”. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne L. Freeman, Sr., grandparents, Ed & Ida Cooksey, sisters, Shirley L. Hall, Elizabeth L. Sims, and Ruby Edith Sylvester.
Betty is survived by her children, Dana Lynn Shultz, Wayne L. Freeman, and Edward Tracy Freeman; 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, March 15th, 2013 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel.

Private burial will be held at Willis Cemetery.
